Just following on from Tina Gray's blog entry 15 Minutes to evacuate I really think I could have almost everything thing I wanted packed up in time. Two words "Rubbish Bags". Load them up and haul them out! End of the world riot style.
So obviously not including my children and in no order...
Going to copy Tina here and say my bag (nappy bag). That has my essentials in it all the time. Mobile, purse, diary, medications, sanitry items etc.
My computer. I would rip all the cords out and just take the tower because thats the part with all the important bits in it.
My DVD collections. Thats including all the home movies. If I couldnt take all of them, then probablly just the home movies :P
The boys memory box's.
My engagment ring and necklace (Because I dont wear them at home, so I would need to go get them).
I would grab my books out of the shed.
My camera.
The TV?
Clothes I guess...
My sons art work :P
Wow, that was really hard. Only because my bag holds most of my important stuff, other than my computer.
On the other hand, if there was a fire and we needed to get out ASAP. I would send Matt out with the kids while I grabbed my computer and the home video's. They are the most important, I would have a break down if I lost my photos! Which reminds me, I sooo need to get my computer backed up!

You could back up all your photos and vids to an external hardrive, that way you could fit it in your handbag and free your arms for the plasma
I always tell myself I'd put everyone and everything in our old portacot and wheel that out, LOL!
I would be grabbing my husbands harddrive (all the photos are on it) my computer tower and the few framed photos I have about the place. Everything else, regardless of sentimental value, can be replaced.
On an unrelated note, what font are you using for your blog? It doesn't show up correctly in my browser (it happens in a few places, not just you) and I want to know, so that I can download the font I need. You're just the first place it's happened who has comments open to ask!

Im just using Courier New font, you shouldnt have to download it though... Im pretty sure it comes defualt?? Hope that helps.
Thats why you put all your Photo's onto DVD. Then leave a few copy's with family. Then there will all ways be a copy some where.
